Its a good app but it could be better It does exactly as advertised and does it well but I wish there was a toggleable timer that would show up in the notification and or on the side of your screen. As a free user, I wish I got even one app I could use in deep focus as I use it for my school work. Also, I think having the ability to 'schedule' timers and breaks could be really useful for, instance for studying.

Even the free version of focus friend has enough going on to make it well worth the while to install and use it. The bean character is fun without being annoying. The one thing I wish I could do is choose the decoration items from a list instead of having to try and click on them in the room. That works great when you're decorating for the first time and you can click on the choose buttons, but when you're gradually switching to a different theme, it's hard to click on items to replace them.

almost perfect! however, pomodoro-style focusing just doesn't quite work for me. I would love love love if there was a stopwatch option as well as the standard timer. I usually need to focus until a task is complete or at a natural stopping point, rather than for a specific amount of time. as it is right now, I have to set a second timer so that I know when my focus friend timer is up (would also love an alarm feature so I know when my timer is done!) and then set another timer on focus friend.

I absolutely love this app! it's super cute, and one of the bean skins looks like my cat. I hope they add tons of more decorations and skins, even maybe some clothes for the beans in the future! I personally am doing homework for 7 hours a day, and I get a ton of socks and scarves made. it almost makes the process of getting decorations a little too easy, so maybe there could be an easy, medium, and hard mode. overall, I think this is an amazing app for people who have procrastination like me.

I love this little app! It is the perfect incentive to leave my phone alone while I'm focused on other things. One of the best uses so far has been setting it for 15-30 minutes when I'm crawling in bed. It helps me not pick up my phone and do all the last-minute things I think of and then end up distracted and awake until 2:00 am. I get to settle well and still have my phone at arms reach when I wake up or if there is an emergency.

I like it so far. BUT I WANT MORE. More rooms, more beans and most importantly NEW MUSIC. I like keeping the app open while I work and listening to the soundtrack but it gets too repetitive after a while. I'd like to be able to choose from a multitude of songs and make a playlist. And I'd like for them to be unlockable with the game currency edit: I would also suggest making events and giving people nice time limited decorations for everyone. The goals could be reaching a target focus time

I struggle to keep reading when my phone is within arms reach. Focus Friend has given me a low key nudge to keep from reaching for it between chapters. I don't use the locking feature, so I can still get in if I need to, but the little nudge is just enough to keep me from doom scrolling endlessly. The app is also undeniably cute. I'm looking forward to new updates and new decorations!

It's really good in theory, but not so much in practice. Unfortunately, without paying for the full app, it doesn't serve its purpose all that well. The Deep focus option makes it so it can actually tell if I am on another app, the problem is, without paying you can't allow any apps to function while you have a focus timer on. If an alarm goes off, its a fight. if Deep Focus isn't on, you can just use your phone normally, even if you have a focus timer on.

I'm really enjoying it, I was wondering if you would be able to make the timer longer because I like doing long projects and having my phone "off" for a few hours is nice plus it means I can get more points. Also, do you know if you can add a split pay feature because I have play credit I would like to be able to buy some of the skins and use the bits of credit I have.

So cute. I really enjoy it but it would be awesome if Bean continued knitting socks when we go OVER the time allotted. So if I've set my timer conservatively for 15 min but I actually keep working for a total of 20 min, I would get 5 more socks.

I only spend an average of 2-3 hours per day on my phone, so why would I want this app? Because it's cute! And my bean loves to knit as much as I do! I'm a workaholic, so I actually use the focus timer as a reminder to take a break from my work. I like being reminded to look at my phone (and away from my work!) so I can decorate my bean's home and take a moment to let my brain relax. My screen time hasn't noticeably changed, but I have been taking more breaks from work, so thanks, Focus Friend!
